High Performance WindML Display Drivers for Hardware accelerated 2D Graphics, Text, and Video
Wind Media Library (WindML) provides 2D graphics support for applications running on the VxWorks RTOS. This feature-rich API enables functions such as window management, text display, 2D graphics, region management, video overlay support, alpha blending, and jpeg image support. Designed for embedded devices, WindML is optimized to run in resource constrained devices including set-top boxes, digital TVs, car navigation systems, Internet appliances, PDAs, digital cameras, and industrial devices.
ALT provides high performance WindML device drivers in a standalone configuration as well as WindML integration libraries that are designed to support the concurrent use of OpenGL and WindML. Our modular WindML driver architecture allows us to easily support new chipsets and hardware to accommodate various display systems running on VxWorks.
ALT Software currently offers WindML drivers for a variety of graphics display controllers and will support additional system configurations upon request.
