Embedded X11 Libraries
A High Performance, Small Footprint X Window System that supports OpenGL
ALT's embedded X11 libraries provide support for X11 client and server applications deployed on real time embedded operating systems.
Available in either standalone configurations or tightly integrated with ALT’s OpenGL graphics drivers, the implementation has been developed from the ground up for portability and to run on a wide range of processors, embedded operating systems, and graphics devices.
ALT’s standalone X11 configurations provide hardware initialization and direct rendering access to the graphics processor to improve performance and functionality. Our integrated X11 libraries provide an environment where X11 applications leverage OpenGL rendering functions to support advanced user interfaces in embedded systems.
